Nope. I’m simple

Will probably work out as well as when they hired Parcells.

kluke84 01-14-2024 07:19 PM

That would be cool.

oldgoldy97 01-14-2024 07:22 PM

Does he play linebacker?

Dallas Cowboys 01-14-2024 07:22 PM

I will go on record as saying Bill Belichick will not win another Super Bowl as a head coach. He's one of the greatest of all time and will be in the hall of fame. But he's over 70 and he lost his edge and is not a great talent evaluator.

roro17 01-14-2024 07:24 PM

That's why he goes to Dallas. They aren't winning anytime soon.

Bill or Carroll should be in Dallas next year. There is no way McCarthy should survive losing to GB at home this badly.

Doesn't Dallas draft pretty well? I still think he's a good coach, just don't let him pick the groceries.

kyle1707 01-14-2024 07:25 PM

Hopefully so is Aaron Rodgers.

It sounds crazy …. I’m aware

I don't think he has the edge he used to have and I don't think him and Jerry Jones could co exist.

I stand by what I said. He will not win another Super Bowl as a head coach.

Yea, you get the feeling Jerry wants all the credit if the Cowboys were to ever have some success before he croaks.
I stand by what I said. He will not win another Super Bowl as a head coach.
That's hardly going out on a limb there given that he has maybe 2-3 years of coaching left and will be starting someplace entirely new....

But with this Dallas team, I bet he'd do better than a 48-24 exit on Wild Card weekend.

I just sold my house and all my belongings, I put money on it. I hope you are correct.

Oh I am sure he would do better but we want Super Bowls.

Haha big market and a big name in Belichick. I can see it happening but I don't think Dak will be the QB.

roro17 01-14-2024 07:35 PM

Maybe they traded for Trey Lance for this reason?

You’re making Glen jealous.

rms13 01-14-2024 07:42 PM

I've been saying this in other threads since he split with Pats. And everyone kept saying I was an idiot and McCarthy is safe no matter what happens in the playoffs. But Pats beat writers have all been suggesting he ends up in Dallas even before he officially left the Pats because he has a great relationship with Jerry and Stephen and it's one of the few jobs where the roster is already set up to win a SB and that's what he will want at this point in his career
