Question on 1952 Mantle pricing

hi fellow vintage people. I collect a little bit of everything but I am trying to sell some cards off to go after a 1952 Topps Mantle probably PSA 1. What prices should I expect? 20k? 25k? Trying to figure out what I need to sell versus what big cards I can hold onto. I am trying to avoid selling my 1951 bowman mantle PSA 2.

I did the very same thing months ago.

20-25k will get you a run over copy, and you will pay maybe thousands more for a "1" with good eye appeal.

I would recommend the Vintage Baseball Cards group in FB and look there, if you already arent a member. There's plenty there.

Happy Hunting !

Dang 42k is a bit out of my league. Thanks it may take me a while but I'm a patient person.

Likely the nicest 1.5 out there though so I wouldn't sweat it.

That SGC card sold for high because somebody is going to work on the back and re-sell it for a killer profit!

This one just sold Jan 26th in Heritage for 36K

BUT IF STILL LOOKING, They have another in auction now, but not as nice as the other, but still has eye appeal at may at lower cost.
Hard to find these centered nicely too!!!!

Just be patient. I got my 52 from this forum via of a trade.

Patience is key, saw a bunch of decent examples at the Philly show this weekend. Offered 30k on one but seller wouldn't budge
