2023 Topps 1988 Autograph Set Help
So, I haven't collected baseball in a while but the 1988 auto set caught my eye and decided to try and put the set together.
My question is: Why don't the checklists listed on all the different sites match what I find available on the market? For instance the only Shea Langeliers auto card listed in the set is for series 2 yet there was another version released with Update. There is a Dermis Garcia listed in Update however the only autos in the wild are the ones from series 1 and there isn't another version of this card. Topps has me confused... |

You should stick to series 1, 2, or update and collect that set's 1988 autos. |

Ya I'm hip to that nuance but I have OCD when it comes to working on sets and need them all. I'm looking for help with why there are cards that were clearly made (I have both Langeliers versions) but he is only listed in series 2 on all websites including Topps' site. Just another example of awesome QC from Topps? Makes working on sets an adventure since there may be some cards available that you wouldn't know about. Kinda like The Cup Limited Logos with all the 'updates' in subsequent years releases |

All the sites are using the topps checklist so there's no way anyone would know unless they're doing what you're doing. |

This....checklists have contained errors for years, and this is no exception. I'm doing just the HOFers, and although there is a Greg Maddux Braves auto listed in Update, I've yet to see one. |
