Savannah Bananas
They played a baseball game locally in Fresno today and it was real fun. I had to buy tickets from stubhub for $70 each because of people just trying to scalp them from the regular $35. A little too much dancing for me, but I think it is a great way to bring kids into the game and women as well. It did turn into a guy strip fest at points, but the fast action and fan involvement were great.
I would recommend to check it out if they come to your area. They treat kids great and you actually leave a game when it is over wanting more. Has anyone else gone to Bananas game here? |

I've enjoyed watching some of the short format video clips they post online. Seems quite entertaining.

Harlem Globetrotters of baseball and I'm all for it for people who like that side of entertainment
|
I worked the three games they played in Mesa. The people that were there had a blast. The baseball isn't much, but it's quite a show.

Northeast tickets are pretty much impossible to get. Secondary market are $150+ all day.

Yeah I clearly underestimated the demand...I entered the ticket lottery or whatever and was pretty shocked to get a rejection email. |
If youre 15 and like the Harlem globetrotters and Tik tok it’s perfect for you.
|
Got very lucky and scored 3 tickets for their game vs the Indianapolis Indians at the end of June
Love Victory Field and super excited to go watch that. All 3 games sold out in very quick order. |

Your usual shtick kinda misses the mark here seeing that's what they're going for. |
I put in for a raffle back in december to be able to buy tickets, and didnt get in at nationals home stadium. They sold out the whole place and still had a lot of people that couldnt get in.
|
I watch their game streams. They're definitely fun. OP a bagholder on Stilts?

A Leaf auto of Stilts is probably keeping its value better than 99% of ultra modern cards. |
They came to Des Moines last year, but tickets sold out quick. They are coming back this year and playing 2 games, so hopefully tickets are a little easier to get this time. One of my sons really wants to go.

I prefer the Ace of Diamonds and his Jewels.

Tickets for this year have already been sold. Only opportunity is to buy them from a third party like stub hub. They transfer to the bananas ticket site very easily, but stubhub will charge over a 40% fee to the ticket. If it is listed for $50, it will be over $70. Looking at the prices on stub hub for Des Moines, it will be about $100 to attend the game, maybe more. It seems like they are not making the Party Animals the bad guys anymore. I think they will have them be their own tour next year. They are adding a third team this year and most likely a 4th team next year. I think it works great for 10,000 seat stadiums, but this year they are going to major league stadiums. Having 40,000 people won't give the same experience to the kids. It needs to be smaller where kids can get autographs and be up and close to the action. The Fresno stadium is about 12,000 people and it was perfect! I don't think I would have enjoyed being in a stadium with 50,000 people. |

High-ceiling player. |
Anyone go lately?
Still good? I don't think I would enjoy it but I watched some highlight clips and actually found it entertaining. |

We had a blast, entertainment from start to finish. Kept it moving and it was over in what seemed like the blink of an eye. Then I stood in the shuttle line for over 3 hours to get back to the offsite parking. |

How often do the fielders miss on the trick catches or do they have them down? |

Often. |
I got in the lottery when they came to Clemson. Sold out 81,000 and I still got shut out of tickets. Crazy money they’re making right now. Not really my thing but the wifey wanted to go. Oh well.

Somehow I got lucky and got tickets about 20 rows from the field near 1st base. |
