2024 Upper Deck X-Men '97 SDCC Exclusive Cards
Somehow this slipped by me over the summer. Upper Deck sold exclusive packs of X-Men '97 trading cards at San Diego Comic Con 2024 back in July. Packs were $25 and each pack contains the full 15-card base set plus one parallel.

Wonder if this will hit ePack like the infamous Cyber packs? |
2025 SDCC Alex Ross 1991 Impel Marvel Design Promo Cards
Didn't want to start a new thread for this, but artist Alex Ross has a daily promo card for this year's Comic-Con. They're issued one per day with either a purchase at the show where Ross has a big booth, or else online. They feature the famed 1991 Marvel Series II design, so it's a little jarring to see DC characters on them, and the art is previously published, but still, pretty cool.

Wow… those look cool. And crazy to see both DC and Marvel characters together in a set.

The Superman was a 1998 signed/numbered print commissioned by the long-gone Warner Brothers Studio Store.
(It'll also be appearing on a new Superman #1 facsimile issue going on sale this week.) The Krypto was a Superman comic cover in 2008. The Spider-Man is an homage to the classic Todd McFarlane cover created as a variant cover for the soon to be released brand new "Spider-Man #1". The Doctor Doom was issued as a limited edition poster print and was later re-used as a series of Alex Ross "Timeless" variant covers. The Fantastic Four was originally a limited edition print from 2014. |
Woahh…stunning promo cards. The Superman in particular- interesting indeed seeing DC on that design.

Yeah, those are pretty cool.
I remember as a kid in the 90s reading Alex Ross's mini-series Marvel comic books. |
