Case of 2024 Topps Definitive
 

So in a moment of weakness I decided to buy myself a case of Definitive... by far the most high end product I've ever ripped. Even with some fantastic hits, I'm sure I didn't come close in value to what I spent, but I am keeping all of the cards for my personal collection so it doesn't really matter that much. I enjoyed ripping this WAY more than I expected and the cards are beautiful.

I think its sad that you can pull Pujols, Jeter, Tatis, Soto low numbered autos and not come out ahead. Some really nice pulls there. That looks like it was a really fun rip.

is topps drunk? how is soto still in a padres uniform in 2025

Soto is in his Yankees uniform for his solo autos in the set but I guess they wanted to make it a Padres card for the dual auto with Tatis so they made him Padres Soto

How sad is it though, that when out of a case you hit:

Abrams 1/1 laundry tag
Tatis/ Soto dual on card auto /35
Pujols on card aauto /25
Chipper patch auto /10
Jeter Auto/relic /5

Along with everything else and it is considered a loser. Where has this hobby gone!

Five years ago, any of those cards would have been the pinnacle of most collections!

Regardless of what you paid, it is nice to see someone happy with what they got!

Thanks! If I opened this planning to sell I would have been disappointed, but since I knew they were for my PC and I hit some amazing cards it was great. I don’t collect any specific players or teams so not knowing what I am going to get always adds to my experience.
