Got our new OC of the Kubiak clan - so hopefully that works out better then Shotgun loving Grubb. I'm seeing mixed reviews, especially from Saints fans, but supposedly he uses Fullbacks - so pumped for that.


And will everyone here be closet Raiders fans now with PC going there? Waiting to see if RW3 or GENO end up there. Or will PC surprise us all going with a young Zach Wilson....

Heard its a good draft for MONSTAR NGs/NTs - so hopefully we get one of those.

And My friend is a huge WTF Commanders fan - so we were pulling for them in the playoffs, Someone also posted an article that there were 13 former Seahawks on their team... pretty crazy and seemed appropriate people were calling them the "Seahawks East". (aka Once a Seahawk always a Seahawk, yes, even Richard Sherman with his 2 hats podcast)
Didn't put in the effort to look it up, but is that a DQ thing? Were there also a ton of former Falcons and Cowboys on the team? He just likes working with people he knows? Its been 10 years since he was on the Seahawks...

Obviously too early to tell but so far I see a 7-10 win team again. They are 20+ Mill over the cap (3rd worst in the league) so I don't see any free agent splashes. They will probably have to restructure/trade/cut to get under the cap. Luckily their free agent list isn't anyone really needed (I would love them to resign Earnest Jones). Team desperately needs an OL as usual.

All 3 people who knew "Hawk Taulia" had a Hawks card - raise your hand...

I seem to recall him just being a tryout. Which wiki agrees with.

Someone at Panini was just really excited to see him in a Hawks uni I guess.

Apparently, Seattle offered Metcalf and Geno for Crosby, and Raiders said Crosby was off the table

Could see Seattle drafting Dart at 18(if he makes it to them barring a trade up to get him) or using some of their draft capital to pick a non QB at 18, and then move back into the end of rd 1 to grab Tyler Shough

The coach clearly has an insurance that a losing season won't be a pink slip as the roster is now thread bare on offense...

I like most of the moves so far. They went from 30th to 8th in Salary Cap space. Knew they were going to get rid of Lockett/Jones as that was close to 40 mill right there. Figured they would restructure Geno. Guess he wanted 40 mill a year and imo not worth it.

DK wanting out is not a bad thing either. The guy is a beast but also a hothead/liability. If he doesn't make dumb penalties the Hawks probably win one more game each of the last 2 seasons and make the playoffs in both instead of missing them all together. He would free up another 30 mill in cap space and come with a decent pick.

Need to restructure Nwosu next/Resign Jones and build an Offensive Line for a change. I could care less if they got Dart or a QB in the 2026 draft...I just don't want them to waste a bunch of money on a guy like Darnold/Rodgers or someone who won't be long term. Aslong as you're young and building the trenches...those big pieces can come later.

Geno wasn't a game changer, he wasn't leading them to the promise land, so it makes sense for them to dump his salary and reset the position, because whoever they likely pickup, shouldn't be much of a drop off, or may even be better

One will be 35 this year and the other 28. That’s all I got
