Will Luka finally start taking care of his body and playing defense now?
Lots of excitement about Luka going to join LeBron and the Lakers. But his conditioning is atrocious and he plays no defense. Will Luka finally start taking care of his body and playing defense now?
|
Nope. Once a fatty, always a fatty.
|
Fat chance.
|
Nah. This isn’t gonna motivate him besides for the 3 times a year he plays Dallas. He will absolutely destroy them.
His motivation should have been there all along after not winning and mvp the last 3-4 years when he’s considered the favorite every pre-season. His motivation should be losing in the finals. He thinks he can get by with doing things his way. And he’s right to an extent. But this isn’t gonna make him work any harder. Honestly only going to make his head bigger being in LA on a team with LeBron. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
I think LeBron will be a good influence on him when it comes to conditioning.
|
I’m sure he is committed to doing so.
Sincerely, Zion Williamson |

You all seem to be saying this is the greatest Luka sell opportunity ever.

I'll say yes and no. As someone who's lived in LA for 20 years I'd say it's a lot harder to be fat here then it is in Texas. He's going to get shunned from social circles he'll be in in LA if he doesn't have a six pack (and I'm not talking about beer). AD came here and got all juiced up and looking like a pro wrestler. I'm sure Luka will fall in line.
I'm sure he'll figure out defense in the same way as Lebron. Never give any effort except in the final 30 seconds of big games or playoff games. But that is all he needs to do. It's not his job to gas himself out playing defense like Dyson Daniels for 35 minutes. |

Yes, I can confirm! Although Ozempic is a Danish product and their government has threatened to stop selling it to the US because of the Greenland situation. But some lab here will figure out how to manufacture it if they haven't already |
Semaglutides are already being made by multiple pharmas in the US.
Lilly has their two weight-loss products selling billions just like Novo does. That's why LLY is up to $800bn market cap, give or take. |
He’s about to find out that a pack of smokes is 3x in CA than in TX

I think it might be the opposite effect, Luka knows someone else is going to be even more active and handle the ball more than him |
2 different questions lumped together
LeBron will absolutely keep him in better shape. I didn’t say great shape. Better shape Defense is for people that aren’t triple double machines He won’t care about that |
He'll definitely be doing one thing better being with lebron. We can start calling him Luflop.

Further proof people dont bother watching the games to shape their own opinions. Try being "out of shape" and play the amount of minutes Luka has. But he doesnt play defense! How many of you would take Herb Jones over Luka? Give me a break with all of it.

No one here is saying they would take Herb Jones over Luka. Luka himself has admitted he "coasts" at times and parties/drinks too much in the off season. He's already one of the top five players in the game when he's healthy. Imagine how good he could be if he actually dedicated himself to staying in shape. |
Make no mistake -- this is absolutely embarrassing for Luka. Teams don't just trade away generational talents and franchise cornerstones in their age-25 season, unless they are demanding a trade. Even if he was going to walk away after his current deal was up, it made sense to try for a title with him considering the Mavs had made the finals just last season.
This is a very poor reflection on him as a player, in my opinion. Dirk will stay as the Mavs GOAT. |

According to Second Spectrum, Luka is 71st in the NBA in miles per game -- 2.38. He's slow as f*ck, though -- 517th in average speed. Lebron is 521st in speed! |

I am not a huge Luka fan, but doesn't a majority of the NBA not play defense?
