Surprised i couldnt find a thread for this outside of a break. Anyone else dabbled in this at all? Cards are pretty cool and can sell very well. Sealed boxes are through the roof. It also looks like Alpha update is coming out soon.

Being so rare, most have not been able to pick it up for a reasonable price. The on card autos are amazing and update is going to be crazy with Emmitt, Barry, Magic, Marino to name a few. Print run is going to increase 25% so maybe more stores will be able to carry it. Alpha was a really nice surprise last November and jumbo boxes have pushed close to $2k.

yea i was lucky to grab 2 jumbos for $500ea at the time... singles have sold very well and just got back a bunch of nice graded cards

definitely looking forward to update

Thought it was a cool concept, but prices were maybe $500 a box, I feel like it was less than that though and I thought that was way too much.

it did seem steep at the time... but i'd kill for $500 boxes now lol

Yeah I think at first they were $149 for boosters, $229 for hobby and $500 for jumbos. Something like that. Now they are all much more

Hobbyclub on Whatnot is doing a 1,750 pack rip... cards look pretty awesome.

Picabo Street has cards in these. Just met her today and got some autos.

Her Arena card is Peek-A-Boo. Crazy box prices.

I guess I don't get the appeal about these.

I'm so tempted to buy in - but I won't unless I stumble across some.

They had a huuuuge presence at the National this week. Tons of advertising all around and seemed like there was always something going on at their booth.

I signed up so I could get a free spin at the wheel and ended up getting a Cyber Promo pack. Pulled a Frostbite (Trae Young). My buddy pulled a Flav (Flava Flav).

I dropped $1000 to pick up some of the Griffey boxes on presale bc it also gave access to The Tecmo Bowl boxes and came with 3 more Cyber Promo packs, which will hopefully help reduce the buy-in cost.

Agree that the cards look pretty cool.

Will be interesting to see where this goes...

I think this has a real chance to do well, especially if they can get more active players to do autographs. I think the only active player they have is Cam Brink and Joey Chestnut?

They're pretty much making cards of all the hot names (Shohei, LeBron, CC, Wemby, Jayden, Caleb, Judge, etc...), which is good.

Do they have some kind of license agreement with these players? Because they use their actual names on advertising.

They must... i know Giannis is a signer in the new set which will be nice but ya there is probably more licensing issues with the newer athletes signing exclusive deals

The autos look really nice. I don't own one, but they had a Spud Webb on display at the National. The blue with white background really pops.

I also looked at prices and this might be one of Spud's more expensive autos out there.

I imagine his 1/1 auto when it surfaces will be over $2k with the game power the card and rarity from a collector stand point. The /10 is a $500-800 card and the art on his card is amazing, one of the best in the set.

Just got into these and ripped a couple cases. Great cards!

I got a preorder in for the Griffey box. I should have stopped at the booth at the National.

Won the right to preorder a Griffey box. Saw that MSRP increased from $285 to $385 (and the original hobby boxes were like $130). Unsure if it's a good move to secure one, seemed pretty easy to hit (raffle result came fast so potentially either low demand or high supply).

Have a couple more hours to decide though (wavering a little, obv).
