Good riddance. Devers comes across as an egocentric selfish a-hole. Boston's better off without him.

Full deal. Tibbs is one of their better prospects. Pretty big haul for Boston.

The more I read about this the more I enjoy it plus..

McWilliams adds that the Giants will absorb the remainder of Devers’s contract with the Red Sox in its entirety.

If I was Cherrington, he would have needed to be the centerpiece. Still shaking my head at that one.

This could be good for Raffy’s career if it gets him back on the field at 3B or 1B.

No way he’s playing third base with Matt Chapman there. And we saw how he reacted when the Red Sox asked him to play first base so I don’t know. Shame to have such an attitude when a team is paying you millions of dollars a year.

Tibbs is 22 and batting .246 at High-A. His offensive upside is maybe Max Muncy (the older one). Hicks still has hope as a reliever, but he just hasn’t been cutting it in the rotation. The deal largely hinges on whether Harrison pans out or not.

Yeah, and I know they like Wilmer who plays 1B a lot… so I guess it’s just DH for him in SF too!

Posey's first big move...team pitching has them believing.

If that's all Boston got in return they just got hosed big time. There has got to be more to this coming down the line.

Does Boston just blow this team up now get rid of Casas that hasn't really shown he can stay healthy and possibly move Rafaela as well? Crochet could also bring a nice haul if they are truly going full blown rebuild mode.
