I just started this theme last week… so definitely an early work in progress. I’m going to chase auto cards of Orioles starting pitchers in the 2000s. I’m going to limit myself to spending COMC credit from sales through COMC to make it a little more challenging. Here is my early batch….

Monetarily speaking he’s cheap and I’m hoping it stays that way :)

Since I grew up an A’s fan in the Bay Area.. back in 1988, I was a huge Walt Weiss when he won Rookie of the Year in 1988. I collected a lot of his cards then.. so when I see some of his rookie cards in a slab, I have a weak spot for them and occasionally buy them:

Not quite worthless but this dude's reputation has taken such a crazy hit since leaving DC (and for good reason).

That being said - I absolutely loved this guy when he was here. Just an amazing player, night in and night out for a half dozen years. Would've won a bunch of GGs as well if not for Arenado. He was amazing in October as well.
