have you guys watched the new show? do you like the story so far?

Pass. It’s a mashup of a bunch of different King characters/stories which they already did with Castle Rock.

I plan on watching sometime this week.

New series expands on stories and movies past. Definitely seems to be adding from the greater King world, and expanding pieces from previous iterations (wink).

So far I call this a plus, and is working better than the recent Aliens earth series.

Also, it's Executive produced by Bill Skaarsgard, who played Pennywise.

The worst acting so far has come from the general, veteran actor from Warriors .

I'd give it 7 to 8 out of 10 so far, and worth watching.

I'll wait until the season is over and binge watch it one weekend. I have not been a fan of watching 1 epidode at a time over 2-3 months in a long time.

The birthing scene was wild.

Yeah same here. I’ll get to it when I can binge it

Just watched episode 2. It’s not perfect but good enough to keep me on for the first season at least.

Little confusing on the inclusion of Dick Halloran...

It's nice to see someone mention Castle Rock on here. I've never been more upset about a cancellation than that show. So well written and intertwined.

I have yet to watch this, as I don't have HBO Max, and don't plan on watching until all episodes are available. I do have hopeful high hopes though.

Watching this show with ASL turned on is probably the best thing ever….

I have Comcast...so i just speak into my remote, and it pops up on screen hit play...easy peasy

Watched the 1st 2 episodes this way no problem..

Started the 3rd...saw this dude in the corner of my screen signing etc...I was confused...I was like, is this part of this episode? Like he's playing along, and he's gonna get killed or something goofy?

I paused it several times...googled...and nobody else was even mentioning this guy...

Went back and checked episode 1...not there...episode 2...not there...episode 3 there he is..

What the hell??

Then...I felt like a complete idiot when I found out it was just the ASL version :doh::doh:

My only question, is why would Comcast only choose episode 3 to showing that way and not the others :confused:

Great show but where the hell is Pennywise?! Sorry, might've just spoiled it for someone.

Haven't seen the most-recent episode yet, maybe he finally makes an appearance?!

Yeah, he appears right at the end.
Plus, the guy who plays him is an executive producer on the show, so he's definitely going to show up more down the line.

This was also a weird scene. The camera lingers on the back of her head and she turns around to reveal similar clown markings to Pennywise. Just a throwaway scene… or will she be back?

In a dedicated thread about a thing, it is generally a good idea to have seen the most recent episode of that thing, if it aired on Sunday, and doesn't take long to watch.
Also, to have seen the show at all.
