Some cool stuff, a lot of tiny mem windows though + stickers. Personally looking more forward to SP Signature Edition. I will give props to whoever on the team suggested the on-card Autographics being spread out across sets. Not only does it give sticker sets like this the possibility of on-card but since it’s only a couple wrestlers per set if say you want Hangman you’ll have to grab this as the next ones will prob be different talent.

Wasn't this the set that advertised the match-used fork? Really curious to see what something like that sells for, assuming its pulled. Sets like this tend to sit for awhile, but I'll no doubt get some boxes as I do like boxes that limit the fluff (I'm just running out of room for hundreds of base cards). $120 a box isn't a bad starting point for one auto + two mem (or tech?) cards. Should be sub $100 by the Spring although unsure if I have that much patience.

It also advertises "20 authentic rookies" so curious to see the checklist and who all they are including. Final thought - its a little too late as Upper Deck is way behind on AEW but the dual Toni/Mariah auto is cool anyway.

The checklist is out and one of the hardest things about these delayed releases is how many of these factions/teams are even still together (and in some cases, active) or connected?

Getting multi-signed cards is always an exciting experience when opening boxes but if the group isn't even together anymore it is slightly less exciting.

I don't really see to many that are "off" though...

FTR and Edge...I mean not together as a team, but they are friends in real life so..

The OPPS...sure Hook is out, and they just turned heel...

The Patriarchy is old news..and I guess the Bucks/Perry/Okada team is old news

Other than that, the rest seem good, even if some "loose" connection

That's a pretty generous take, and that's coming from a AEW fan. Learning Tree no longer exists, Baker has been MIA for a year, Ogogo hasn't wrestled in AEW/ROH in 2025, and Brian Cage is now DCF while the other two are with Ricochet. Hook is back and definitely not with the Opps. My point being its a snapshot of what the teams/feuds were in early 2025, a few are still true but its just a little behind.

Course, its impossible to make it 100% current as things in wrestling change very quickly but as they are more behind the current product than WWE is, its a little more noticeable. It doesn't matter for the singles autos or relics from PPVs, that kind of stuff, just pops out on the multi-signed cards.

Considering these will most likely be like a case hit or rarer some pretty rough names together or not. Like the above group is cool but is it really a big auto? Someone’s mom who was never in the business before AEW? Or the Dark Order one, there cool but come on. Brian Cage one also super weak. They need to condense these lists instead of making them bigger so more people can get a “big” hit, it’s the same with expanded Kaboom/Downtown checklists where there’s always some nearly 80% wouldn’t want.

I’m sure you know by now Joshi but this does have the fork. I’d like to see what else they have as o saw something that said redemptions for multiple unique items not just the fork.

Pretty happy with my 3 boxes. Pulled a Harley Cameron Banner Year Auto /10, Darby and Takeshita autos

My one complaint was that every pack comes with a manufactured patch which I was pretty disappointed with. I thought you'd get 2 real relics in each box.

That Darby is really cool. Mems are…meh, classic UD drop a set called SP Game Used and make the mems be the weak point in 70% of boxes lol the mems above look like the relics I got from UD 2021 up to the size of the relic window. Again I know this has some insane mems etc but for a set based around it I’d expect more from three boxes.

Looking forward to regular SP AEW
