2025-20206 college basketball thread
We have a football thread. Why not a basketball thread?
Let’s go! The freshman class looks mighty deep this year, fellers! I like Brown Jr. from Louisville. I’m biased because I’m a U of L fan. ACC is currently up 6-3 on the SEC in the challenge. The remaining seven games are tonight. |
UConn with the big road W @Kansas last night. w00t!
Liking what the Tar Heels are made of this year..upset of all the TO’s against kentucky , but this team is different than last years ..
Kentucky with a $22m roster already has three losses and it’s only the third of December.
Gonzaga put it all over Kentucky last night. Yeesh!

D-Cous laid into the Cats. |

He's not wrong - especially viewed through the lens of today's college sports when these dudes are now professional athletes. College sports (especially the revenue-generating sports) are so incredibly broken. |

UNC looks great when Trimble is out there. Hasn't been the same since his injury. |

Man, what’s crazy is I think they are better without him out there ..he’s good on defense but his offense is ATROCIOUS! I rather have Dixon in, Powell get those minutes .. |
Purdue down 18 at home to Iowa State with 12 minutes to go.

Purdue gets boat raced in the second half and loses big. Duke squeaks by Michigan State in East Lansing. Not a good day for the Big Ten so far. |
#6 Louisville led bell to bell against #22 Indiana in Indianapolis today. Definitely a bad day for the B1G.
North Carolina vs G Town!
Michigan is winning it all this season.

Realizing I’m the only one who cares, I’m very proud that Nebraska is 9-0 after dispatching Creighton by 21 at home yesterday. Big 10 season is coming fast with the first three opponents being Wisconsin at home, Illinois on the road, and Michigan State at home after new years. It’s not going to be easy, but hopefully they’ll keep winning under the radar for as long as possible. I don’t expect them to still be undefeated for much longer but there’s always the hope it can be a decent season.

Michigan and Arizona are legit.
Huskers beat Wisconsin by 30. So much for staying under the radar. At Illinois on Saturday. First true road game.
Huskers beat Illini at the buzzer. They won’t be sneaking up on anyone now.
Since this thread is having a hard time getting going, I’ll bore everyone with my updates. Most likely, Huskers will be facing Michigan State a week from Friday with a 13-0 record. With a win, they’ll probably be top 10. They’ll likely be losing some games soon with the Big 10 schedule coming fast and furious, but it’s a great ride so far.
Michigan looks to be the team to beat as we roll into conference season. They’re undefeated and have a tough schedule according to KenPom.
North Carolina looked a little rusty but Caleb got clicking ..hate that Trimble STILL doesn’t get his role at times ,I just want him to play lockdown defense on their best wing and attack the rim when he gets the ball not shoot 3’s
Hoping NC State is starting to come into form after a disjointed OOC start. Kicking off ACC play today at noon vs. WF!
Huskers beat Michigan State at home. Crowd was raucous and loud. They’ll have a target on their back from here on.

After the way Notre Dame acted when the CFP didn’t include them, and now this… |
Kentucky is 9-5 with a $22m roster. Got smoked today by Alabama.
