Fanatics Live and Filthbomb
 

Sorry I hadn’t seen a dedicated thread so decided to create one over here. It’s been taking over Twitter for the last few weeks with the hits they’ve been getting.

Also today one of the few woman influencers @KaseysCards got caught posting content for Filthbomb from her personal account so she obviously runs some social media for them but also won a repack from them a few months ago.

Twitter is a mess for discussion so bringing the negativity err transparency here.

It makes me wonder how Filthbomb got selected as the go to Fanatics live breaker and how the world would be if Houdini had somehow gotten picked instead.

Wasn’t trying to be misogynistic but there are so few female influencers that I thought it was relevant, for better or for worse. I don’t follow her so can’t gauge her content but she definitely seemed to participate and win the top repack while being associated with the breaker.

Was going to post about this because it’s actually much worse. Looks like she recently purchased the marlins in a repack break for like $180. Then nailed Stanton true gold BCA auto.

Have always assumed there was room for this type of collision to go on but it looks really bad.

I have just always assumed repacks were a scam.

Filthbomb is a very shady organization, asking absurd prices for their breaks to posting pics of big cards that were photoshopped. Fanatics only cares about money so if they have the ability to move a lot of product nothing will change.

Curious to see how this ends up as people are filing FTC complaints already lol. It’s. Nice break from my twitter feed being 99% childcare fraud. Now it’s 90% MN fraud 10% filthbomb fraud

I don’t see how you even bother with that site anymore. So much drivel and propaganda to see anything of true substance. It would be nice if I could just follow the tried and true mlb rumor guys and that’s it.

Quite the opposite. Actual influencers (not the 12 year olds who are trying with 2K followers) have grueling schedules and film for hours just to extract whatever short clip they are going to publish. I would argue that they are some of the hardest workers out there. There are several documentaries. The lazy tag is lazy and doesn't acknowledge the work that actually goes into being successful.

And quite honestly, whoever is operating that Kasey’s account is smart. They went after big Twitter accounts early in their account. It created controversy and what does the algorithm move? Controversy. They then got a large following that then got a larger following. Sadly, it’s how social media operates. If you want a quick following: create drama. Just annoying that fanatics refuses to crack down on breakers buying or bidding on their own breaks. Fanatics could pull alllocation but they won’t bc it makes them too much $. FB is giving fanatics a black eye though, so at some point, fanatics may want to rethink their current posture bc hopefully fb starts costing them more than they make them, and that’s truly what fanatics cares most about.
