2025 Topps Disneyland 70th Anniversary
Not sure what to make of this.
Pre-Order available February 3 at 12pm ET |
Sure, why not. I know there are insanely rabid theme park people who might love this stuff.
Unironically they shoulda had manufactured pins, people actually do like manufactured relics. |

Since it's got autos it'll probably be out of my budget, but any other day I'd be all in on this. Hopefully there's a retail version, I'd love to go for the base set. And hopefully it does well enough they will consider doing a Disney World set!
Relics could be REALLY cool if they're actually pieces of stuff from the park and not "manufactured" garbage. I have a pin with teeny tiny relic pieces of Star Tours in it and it's awesome. |
Cool set for the people who like the parks. Probably will sit this one out since I grew up going to Disney world

1-day park hopper ticket or 1 box of Topps Disneyland 70th.
|
I'm offering a $100 bounty for the dole whip #1/1.
|
I'd be a big bidder of relic card that include things like:
• park maps • fast pass ticket stubs • sorcerer of the magic kingdom cards • anything related to an "event" like Mickey's not so scarry party, or marathon • Festival of the Arts passport hey Disney, hire me as your relic acquisitions guy !! |
Any word on when checklist comes out? Saw this releases Feb 3 so could release checklist this weekend. If there are any cards for Indiana jones adventure I’ll have to get em.
|
Upper Deck did a nice set for Disneyland 50th during that brief period when they had the license and also issued the five Disney Treasures sets along with a "Little Mermaid" set and a Mickey Mouse factory set. Their "Disneyland 50th Anniversary" didn't have any of today's "hits" or numbered parallel cards, though.
|
Problem with a set like this is if they price it right it’s an oddball, but cute, fun product- but Topps will probably price it at $200.

Yeah, I do feel I'd be up for it at about 150 like Topps hyperspace was. |

I stopped after series 2 as it got too pricey dropping 50 apiece on the eBay aftermarket. Yeah I'm up for a Disney World set but passing on the Disney Land one since I grew up going to Florida and not California. However if priced decently, maybe I'll get a box. |

I stole this pic from Ebay, but it is the only one I cared about enough to own. I bought it a while ago, paid I think like $25. Would be fun to collect them all, but not for the prices they command. |
What I like about this one is it is somewhat reminiscent to the 1965 Donruss set, highlighting things around the park.

They actually auction off props and things from the park wholesale to a bunch of Orlando-area Disneyana shops when their warehouses get too full. I imagine even the Disneyland stuff is stored at Disney World considering how much space they have in Orlando compared to Cali. |

Great ideas! |

You could also add limited Cast Member tickets, pins and coins. I have a small collection of stuff from when I worked at WDW 25 plus years ago, including the greeting card with an Animal Kingdom coin attached. |
Price is 100 a box no eql.

Yeah debating on whether to nab a couple now. |
I'll go for some at $100, which means none of us are getting any I assume
