Bowman FB ?
I noticed there are definitely fewer case breakers for football than baseball. Just did a search for 2007 Bowman FB 275 card sets and they are selling very well in the $40 to $50 range out of the gate without a flood of new set listings.
What I find strange is that no one is really biting on the 10 card RC lots which are usually the life blood for anyone selling Bowman baseball product. For those busting Bowman Chrome FB do you think it is better to just list sets or try and do 10 card chrome lots of the 55 RCs. If base Bowman Sets fetch $50 I would think you could expect at least $100 for a set of chrome. |
With the RC checklist for the 55, I'd sell it as a set, without a doubt.

i think he's talkin' about the 55 rookies in Bowman CHROME |
jebjeb, are you talking about selling the 55 chrome rookies inserted into regular bowman or the bowman chrome product that will be released in about a month?
|
Sorry I was talking about the 55 rcs that will be in Bowman Chrome. Not sure if I should do sets, 10 card lots or even try and list individual cards in some cases like Peterson if he breaks out.
|
I'm getting killed on team sets, I may need to buy some team sets to fill my orders and sell these by the set. $40 a set with 15 sets out of 2 cases gets $600 back, the inserts and chrome should cover the rest and then some.
|
That is the problem with team sets. I usually do well selling team sets with proven products like Heritage, but once you sell one set you are commited to team sets for the remainder.

?? on Group A (peterson, Russell, Johnson) Base variation Autographs out of 2007 Bowman FB. Are there only 25 of each of these guys? If so isn't that WAY SP'd for Bowman FB. Any info is appreciated. Thanks, SHAwn

where did you come up with /25? if it's like last year, they should be #'d/199 |
I just pulled a Russell #'d 4/25. I searched Ebay and the ONLY Johnson is /25 and there isn't a Peterson on there yet. If these were 199 I think there would be a few listed by now.

post a pic of what you pulled. you must have pulled a silver parallel (if that's what it's called). the regular base auto variations are numbered /199.

I'm working on getting a pic up. However Quinn is Group B. Group A is only Peterson, Russell and Johnson.

Here's an attempt at the pic
