This is the Silhouettes "Prime" version, which is serial numbered out of 10 made. The regular jersey version is #'d to 25.

This price surprises me because Rose and Kobe "Prime" cards are numbered to only 5 and have sold for big bucks, but this Hill is pretty close to their prices, while Hill has double the print run...

Whatever the case, that's a pretty high price :cool:

what beautiful card!! i am not suprised went for that price. his autographs go for very high price. will go to hall of fame when he retires.

Grant Hill has very little in the way of high-end autographs and has a large, fervent collector base. This doesn't surprise me at all.

Can't believe I'm actually defending sportitupcards, but the prime print run on the kobe is 5. The prime print run on the hill is 10. That is double the print run.

I agree with you. I think this card is beautiful and if I never saw Kobe and Rose "Prime" prices, I wouldn't think twice about the price... I guess there are more die hard Hill fans? Doesn't surprise me too much though, it's a great card, just when I compare to other players with lower print run.

I thinkt here's just some crazy grant hill collectors.

That price is a bits nuts...

Grant doesn't have any Hig-end Exquisite stuff so the supercollectors we probably itching.

I am hoping we see more Rodman (Spurs) autos. I want one, but not at that price. I've seen the jersey version /10.

I actually think that was a steal for being a /5 patch version.

I would really like to see one of these cards in hand...I love Limited Logos...and have a hard time beleiving these are as nice...but will defintiely give it a shot!

Man I LOVE those Hill Autographics.

When I was 11 or so back me and some buddies used to climb in the dumpsters at our little league in the paper section for sports magazines. We found a 3,000 ct box of cards and inside was the Hill. None of my friends believed it was an actual autograph card so I ended up taking it. Sold it for $200 and bought some SLU's - lol

When I was 16 I worked at a card shop and we had some packs for $.50. I bought 1 and pulled the same Hill. Ended up selling it on ebay.

Great memories. I need to pick one up.
