Jake Locker or Andy Dalton

Who do you think will be the better QB and why. I am going with Dalton.

chasacar86 06-13-2012 11:49 AM

Dalton looks like he'll be solid but I could see Locker as a more popular guy in the hobby from his deep ball and ability to take off if needed..I like both long term.

bradsholly 06-13-2012 03:25 PM

dalton, better team, better future, and not a direct quote but it went something like this

The Steelers Defensive Backs````
-this guy looks like he's been in the league 5 years already, he doesnt't play like a rookie-

..........as a rookie!!!!!

asujbl 06-13-2012 03:27 PM

Dalton

AJ Green

Enough reason for me.

Depends on your flavor. If you like the Matt Ryan type that does nothing spectacular but is solid and wins more than he loses, I'd say Dalton. If you like the Matt Stafford type, guy that has huge potential but who knows if he'll ever be great (Stafford was average at best before last season) then it's Locker. One thing I'll say makes a big difference, Locker has a much easier division year in and year out. Pitt & Baltimore own the AFC North, and I don't see that changing any time soon while I feel the AFC South is up for grabs.

Jake Dalton? Andy Locker?

Dalton, Locker, Dalton, Locker, Dalton, Locker, Dalton = Slight edge (Better receivers)

Dalton>Locker.

HighEndHits 06-13-2012 06:42 PM

Has everyone forgotten that Britt is on the Titans? He was really emerging before his injury last season.

ninjacookies 06-13-2012 06:51 PM

I guess I'll be the minority and say Locker.

Not even close to nuff said. Good franchises establish themselves at the top and stay there through turnover. Pitt and Baltimore have been at the top or near the top since early 2000's. Cincy Had the best year they've had in like the past 6 last year and still finished third. They're young and have potential but like I said, the division is still owned by Baltimore and Pitt.

I believe so, but I don't see them with the talent (or division) to be able to make the playoffs!!!

Razorsharp79 06-14-2012 03:36 PM

Locker................

addicted36 06-14-2012 04:02 PM

Dalton because of A.J. Green is my vote for long term career success. However this year I think Locker will improve more and Dalton regresses some so I would look to sell Locker and hold Dalton or Sell Dalton and rebuy Dalton at the end of the season. Dalton will be the more successful QB when judging them in 5 years.
Locker................
The one game I watched over Locker in college he went 4/27 passing against nebraska and he is slow as crap. I thought he was the worst 1st round QB ever. DALTON.
