Laughable 2008 SP Authentic Break
 

Laughable because I am crying on the inside...

I went to an LCS and picked up a box of SP Authentic for fun. I will only list the hits (scans included):







So what do you think?

I got no rookies, no auto's. A number of packs only contained 3 cards. One pack had just 2 filler cards in it. And as a bonus, some of the cards were heavily creased. I know there were shorted boxes/cases, but I had never heard of anything this bad.

It's ok to cry....it lets the sad out of you. And after that...you must have alot of sad inside....I am sorry, that is boderline criminal what they did to you.

How they can mess up this bad I will never understand. Better luck next time. Talk about kick in the junk.

Sounds like a repackaged box designed to discourage people away from the hobby to me, aka Upper Deck.

I assume you have contacted UD about your wonderful experience with their company!! I would request a new box hand delivered by a UD Rep, then when he gives it to you, return the favor and kick him in the junk.

I checked the website and this set was released in January. So I am technically still within 8 months/a year of release. So, a nice little letter is being sent to Carlsbad (I find letter writing to be a little more productive than calling them).

I had the same thing happen to me a few weeks ago from a box I got at a show. Nothing but 12 decoy cards.

If I hadnt seen it come out of a sealed case, I would have sworn it was re-packaged.

By the way, UD did nothing for me.

That box was sick, and they say laughter is the best medicine.

Seriously i just broke a box SPA yesterday, granted I got 2 hits of scrub autos. I didn't get any patch auto, 2nd time this has happened.

Take a sharpie....write 1/1 on them and send them to the 'bay and list them as "UD SP Authenitic Football 1/1 error blank back ....AND Front" :)!

YOUR not gaurenteed a patch auto in a box. Your gaurenteed 3 autos, which I know is actually false. I just want them to send me some autos, patches or not.

Been waiting 6 months for a redemption from ud and yea i feel about the same as all you guys feel about upperdeck

You can bet your ars that if this happened to me. I would have someone's @!#%@ in the tight ninja grasp of my fingers. I guarantee I would have a new box at my doorstep very soon. I would call them 10 times a day have a letter in the mail EVERY day until I got one of the best hot boxes ever put together. I might even go as far as having the family lawyer give them a couple of calls. Pure, grade A, 100% Angus bull#^&% would be tattooed on the behind of Mr. Upper Deck himself.....I'm pissed off just reading about how bad these people are.:mad:

For some reason 2008 SPA has been bad to me, my last 2 boxes yielded crap. One of my scrub auto's wasn't even autographed. I don't even think I had 3 hits in each box either :(
