Ridiculous trying to reason with someone
 

I sold Atrain some 09 Topps Magic Cards. He sends me a PM today saying "all but one are damaged make it right or I can send them back for a refund". So I respond saying "send them back and I will give you a refund if I agree". My reason for that statement was because I have never had any cards get damaged in delivery and I have been scammed so now when I send cards I take pictures before they go out. So when he sends them back I can make sure that the cards werent switched with bad ones (magic is serial #ed). He then Replies telling me that I will send him a refund or he will ruin me on these sites. So I try to keep telling him to send them back and I will correct it, and the whole time Im contacting people trying to get the same cards and am gonna have to pay more for them and he keeps PM me telling me Im a POS and all this other negative crap. Look I have had words with people on here but have always held up my end of the deal, but if he refuses to send them back am I wrong for thinking that he is trying to scam me??

Who is he?

i have had several transactions with atrain and have never had a problem, he doesn't strike me as one who would make something up that wasn't true, just my input

Atrain, its in the intro of the post.

atrain, is a solid person/trader, I have done several deals with him and never ever had a problem.

he has been and is a mod on a few sites. I pretty sure he is not about to ruin that kind of reputation. My input as well.

I am talking about this transaction, not the ones you have had with him. I can post the PMs if you would like

You are not in the wrong here. There is no way you should have to send him the money back without having the same cards you sent back in your hand.

Now he has filed a claim with paypal. But get this I sold the cards to him for $57 and he is asking paypal to give him a $27 refund and he keeps cards. Sorry seems like a scam to me.

Atrain is a very well respected member and Ive made numerous transactions with him without ANY problems. You need to have some SOLID proof before calling him out like this(i.e. posts,threads,PMs, etc.)

Im behind Atrain 1000%

I doubt he would ruin his rep as a Member and a Mod over $30. Just my 2 cents

No disrespect but you didnt read... for one the sell was $57 and he wants $30 less refunded and he refuses to send the cards back.

Get him to respond here so we can get his side. Ask him if he could do so.

And also please remember this isnt about your great transactions with him but the one stated.

I did read it and thats what Im saying. I cant see him losing his mind over wanting $30 in a refund + Cards

Would you blindly refund him without seeing the cards? If I were in this situation I would tell the guy to go f himself if he expected me to give him the cash back without me seeing/having the cards...I don't care how well respected he is.

I'll be honest with you and say that I am not giving you the benefit of the doubt on this one. I would like to hear Atrain's side of the story.
