Question about Tim Horton (Maple Leaf)?

So I cracked 4 more boxes of the Cup today (will post in box break section tomorrow). I do not know much about Hockey (just like ripping)....pulled a Tim Horton Cut auto #/4. that is one of the draw backs of opening hocke for me...did not know if I should be excited or not. How good was he and what type of value am i looking at for this cut? So of you who know your hockey please share your insight........ thanks:)!

You should be excited... you should get paid handsomely for that. Not sure how much... but enough to buy me the doughnut that I'm hungry for now!

Great Pull. Very popular player who Died in 1974. Here is a part of his Wikipedia Biography:

Miles Gilbert "Tim" Horton (January 12, 1930 – February 21, 1974) was a Canadian professional hockey defenceman from Cochrane, Ontario. He played in 24 seasons in the National Hockey League for the Toronto Maple Leafs, New York Rangers, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Buffalo Sabres. He was also a businessman and the co-founder of Tim Hortons, now Canada's largest restaurant chain. He died in an automobile crash at St. Catharines, Ontario, in 1974 at the age of 44.

Just make sure you are open to shipping to Canada if you put it on the 'bay - Leafs fans will be very interested no doubt and as those above have noted the donut shop franchise he started is a national treasure in Canada, just starting to trickle into US border states like MI, NY....

Tim Hortons is the Dunkin Donuts of Canada!! He played hockey for the Maple Leafs as well.....lol:)!

You maybe get most of your money back on the 4 tins.:)!

Yea in Buffalo we have a ton of Tim Horton's and in the mornings the drive thru lines wrap around the store and sometimes go right into the street, people go crazy

As for the card, awesome pull it should rake in a lot of cash :)!

Now I get why there was a Stan Mikita's Doughnuts in Wayne's World, nice tip of the hat.

I would say a minimum of 800$, let it ride whit a starting bid of 799.99, dont forget to allow canadians to bid and put a shipping price to Canada in your auction.:)!

May fetch 12-1600, i dont follow is stuff much be he is a huge seller.

HJ, Tim Horton's blows DD out of the water. DD's coffee sucks and good luck waiting less than 10 minutes for a cup of Timmy Ho's coffee on weekend mornings.

Monsters, you will sell that card to some COOKY LEAFS FAN for an outrageous price. Nice pull!

I have an interesting story about some Tim Horton memorabilia, however I cannot put it out into the public, if interested, please PM me.
