Prizm Print Run
According to the checklist just posted on Panini's website there are approximately 48000 TOTAL autographs.
If even 10% of those are in retail that means only 1800 hobby cases are being produced - roughly comparable to prizm NBA. With everything they are including that wasn't in NBA (reds, blacks, black autos etc.) initial demand will be insane. If anyone is still able to lock this in at MAPP or below it's a no brainer. |
What % do you think they're holding back for replacements? 5%?
|
Man I hope your numbers are right.
Panini doing it right with this product! |

the checklist lists the serial numbering for every auto, and there are (roughly) 48k total including prizm & finite parallels. if the checklist is correct the print run numbers are at least close. the only question would be what percentage of autos end up in retail. i'm figuring 10% as a minimum. obviously a higher percentage in retail would mean the hobby print run is even smaller. |
Yeah, I'd guess a little more in retail.
Hobby probably will be in 1,500 cases. Any guess on what Topps Chrome print run was. |
I was a little late on the preorder train, but asked my LCS to hold at least three boxes for me when he gets them from the distributor.
|
Do you work for Panini? We get it you LOVE this product, let's just wait and see shall we?

Was that directed towards me? I am pretty sure this is the first time I have commented on the Prizm release. |
Grrrrr Gronk has 3 autos /5 /3 and /1 i wont bother with the /1 but to get one of the /5 and /3 is going to cost me. :(

No, it was directed at the OP who has been very active in trying to pump up this product in multiple threads lately. |

no, i've been active in trying to correct negative misinformation being posted about it in other threads because I hate BS. the point of this thread was to let people know demand is going to be >>> supply, so anyone who wants it to rip or flip and can still get in at a decent price (MAPP or below) doesn't wait. |

Autos in retail are 1 per retail box, and I assume they will make at the very least 500 cases of retail. Unfortunately, I don't know how many boxes there are per retail case. |

Don't go after them and waste your money on this product. Save your $ for his Topps cards. |

not an option. |
not an option.
lol well it is an option you just choose not to take that option. You can't choose to collect every single card of someone then moan about low print runs :p |
I'm going to buy a case and actually try to hold it for a few years

Was debating getting in on this, but looked at the prices of basketball prizm cases (even after their huge hype boom), and you'd be lucky to get close to $1400 for a case now. After ebay fees and shipping, only a >$100 profit does not sound great.
That is even IF football does as well as basketball does, which I highly doubt it will. Best of luck to people on their breaks! |
