Flat out best Football product of the year. Product is looking EPIC, with the best rookie class in years. Don't miss out on your chance to pull monsters from teams of your choice! If there is enough interest I will do more then one case, so let's get this party started! :flex:

26 Total spots (24 memorbilia + autos and 2 base slots of 4 cards each)


[U]Break Rules[/U]

1. This is a Draft break, each participant will draft their cards. Draft order will be determined by the mods randomizing of the spot list using random.org 5 times. At that point the draft will commence, you will have 2 hours to select your card once you are "on the clock" otherwise I will pick for you. Once a selection is made it is your responsibility to post your pick along with pm'ing the user with the next pick. Please subscribe to the thread once moved to active to make this easy on everyone and to make sure you get the card you want!

2. Break will take place live in my ustream channel [url=http://www.ustream.tv/channel/caflisch78]caflisch78 on USTREAM: . Football[/url] once the case arrives. I will notify the thread with at least 48 hours notice. 3. All cards from this break will be shipped!

4. All spots must be paid within 48 hours of filling and going active. Since this product is a pre-release item I will set a strict payment due date. Please be prepared to pay so others are not forced to wait. After 48 hours backups will be taken. Please pm if you have an issue with payment or negative feedback may be left for you. Sorry!

5. Spots in this break must only be traded/sold with members of this break only, causes much less confusion, exceptions can be made depending on circumstance.

6. Any cards with multiple teams featured on them will be randomized once the break has been completed in my blog room via random.org. Unless one owner owns more then 50% share of said card. Card go to whatever logo is featured on the card, not jersey he is wearing! - [COLOR="Red"]not applicable to this break[/COLOR]

7. Additional postage may be requested if you live outside of the continental US or International.

8. Any card valued over $250 will require additional funds for insurance and signature confirmation so we both are well protected, as well as your sick cards. :flex:

9. Any "big pull" that results in a hit of the month contest win will be evenly shared among those in the entire break (only those who own teams at time of break)

10. The host will [COLOR="Red"]NOT[/COLOR] be a participant in this break.

11. This break will require a lot of work but should result in a great amount of fun, so please be patient and courteous to fellow participants and the host. :)!

Anyone else for this today? Would anyone recommend a different format? People can't be tired of filling NT Football breaks yet. It's still a month away and the price is only going to go up from here!

I'm not really good with suggestions to your breaks, but I posted this in another section on here:

I would love to join something like a NT Football Hit Break - 4 boxes (1 case) - this is how I would break it down:

A total of 17 slots:

12 auto slots
4 total memorabilia slots - 1 memorabilia slot per box
1 base lot

Why would I do it this way? Because then everyone has a good chance of getting something nice - instead of multiple base slots - just one so you have a 70% chance of getting an auto - a 23% chance to get a nice auto/rpa. Those are nice odds for around $125 a spot.

If there were extra auto hits - I would take the lowest street value auto of the entire case and give it to the base lot spot. There should be at least 1 extra auto and a possible more memorabilia cards. The memorabilia extras would stay with the box they were pulled as an extra incentive for that slot.

That seems like an awful lot for what you're guaranteed. Almost seems like a 32 spot draft break would make more sense to me. Then at least people are paying about half that slot price instead. lmk

At the price of your current break you have only about a 50% chance of walking away with a hit - with my break you have a 100% chance of walking away with a hit and almost 25% chance of getting the box hit/rpa - the break I proposed is less than your current break.

You asked for opinions - my opinion is for $125 - I can get a full box of memorabilia or a whole case of base cards - which is the worst case scenario - but as you may know NT is always full of extra autos etc., so there are many ways to run the extra auto hits and make it more of an exciting break.

I would gladly pay 1/4th of the price of the box for 1/4th the chance to get the box hit with a top 4 pick. These are hardly done like this because people think slot prices are too high - but if people want to join a NT break and it sounds good they will join.

I would host it, but I don't have the spare time.

Jason or anyone else have a feeling on this proposed idea? I'm just hosting (since I can't join my own breaks yet) so I really don't mind what format as long as we can find something fair enough to fill.

I personally like hit drafts, and would do one for this product. Not sure how easily it would fill given the high price for one hit. Could easily end up with a $10 SV card for your spot. But that said, under the current format, there could definitely be people who draft two teams and get 0-1 hits for both teams.

I think a hit draft also gives people a better return on their investment when they buy people's picks after the random. It's a lot easier to estimate how much a spot is worth. If I'm looking to buy the #10 spot, I can better estimate what that card will be worth, versus paying a premium on a team and hoping for that one big hit.

I don't disagree, it was just a different idea so I tried to be different. Well for NT, I assume we are talking 6 hit spots per box (24) + 2 base slots (2) potentially? That's 26 slots I'm guessing it runs around $80 a spot. Is that what you are expecting?

I was thinking $125 per spot, but that was based kl4life's breakdown, which was a little bit different than a hit draft (I prefer a hit draft). For $80, I would definitely be in for a couple spots.

I'd suggest doing a base slot for each box, or doing all base as a slot.

Ok, we are switching to a 26 slot hit draft, 24 hits + 2 base slots.
