Chris Johnson Exquisite - Extremely fake
 

This is up from a notorious patch faker who tried to put a scan where you could not make out the card:

Such a waste. If you think about it. These people are scum. Being so low they probably would steal candy from thier own baby to make a profit.

Vinny. I do not think ebay really cares. As long as they are getting thier money for listing/final value fees. Thats all they care about. They have taken away any inkling of help for the seller except for the fees. Given all of the power to the buyer. IE: feedback/pp claims ect.

I tip my hat to you for contacting ebay about this matter. As collectors, we really should be blowing the whistle whenever we see this sort of thing. Thank you for taking the time to contact ebay...

Ive tried too many times to let eBay know about this crap, and nothing is ever done! A perfectly good card is now worthless!!

I just sent the seller a question. I said why are you posting a fake patch? I know of the same card with the same numbering with a different patch in it. their are pictures of both.

Hope this scares him at least to not do it again...

Well that's the problem! They DO get away with it, and there's nothing anyone can do about it. Sux!!:mad:

I feel like there's never enough harassment I can dish out to a faker or a seller of KNOWN and provable fakes. At the very least, I want them to KNOW that there's a population of collectors out there that are aware of his sleazy attempts to sell fakes.

I have no sympathy for anyone dumb enough to buy from him. If you are shelling out $50-$350 for a card on Ebay don't you normally check feedback?

And that is why I rarely buy singles from ebay(The only time I have is to get some rookies for my 2006 Leaf Longevity Football set and I haven't done it since). I'm probably 8 or 9 years younger(at least) than half of these fake patch selling idiots and even I'm smart enough to know what's fake and what's not.
