Erie, PA cards show at the Saga Club
 

I was just wondering if anyone has ever gone to one of these shows. I was thinking about grabbing a table at the August show and was wondering if it would be worth my while (I'm in Monroeville so it's about a 2 hour drive). Any feedback would be appreciated.

I go to every one of them. Decent turn out, nothing earth shattering. New Sellers always get a ton of attention.

Thanks man - I may give it a shot since tables are pretty cheap. Any idea how hockey moves? I'm almost exclusively hockey.

There are a few Hockey buyers. Football & Baseball are king. Not a lot of people sell Hockey so you should have a pretty decent amount of attention.

I usually try to make it to them, don't buy much as there just aren't singles I'm looking for there. If your hockey contains Ryan Callahan then I'm interested for sure

The only Callahans I have would be base cards, but I'm cracking a couple cases of 2013-14 OPC next week - are you interested in parallels, retros and the like or just autos and jerseys?

I hope there are some Maple Leaf fans at this show - I pulled a couple of high numbered Leafs patches out of 2013-14 OPC, #175 and #187.

If you're a hockey collector, stop down tomorrow and have a look. I've got two tables and these are some of the things I'll have for sale:

-2013-14 OPC base sets and ONE complete set 1-600 with all rookies

-2013-14 OPC Black Foil rookies of Huberdeau, Gallagher, Tarasenko, Yakupov, Beau Bennett, Dougie Hamilton and many others

-2013-14 OPC Black Foil parallels of Crosby, Toews, Stamkos, Ovechkin, Patrick Roy and many other stars

-2013-14 OPC Patch cards, including two high-numbered Maple Leafs patches, numbers #175 (post-WW2, 1 per 1,146 packs) and #187 (pre-WW2, 1 per 1,973 packs)

-2013-14 OPC base, stickers, rings, retros and rainbow parallels so you can complete your set

-2013-14 Trilogy rookie autos, including a Huberdeau Level 2 and a Yakupov Level 2

-Tons of hockey stars, retros, parallels and inserts - the more cards you buy, the cheaper they get (for instance, $1 each, 6 for $5, 15 for $10, 35 for $20, 60 for $30)

-Plus a bunch of other stuff, including a little football.

Right back at you - I know there are a few guys from the boards going and a few more who say they might go.

I moved from Erie a year ago and still visit family frequently who still live there. I'd definitely be going if I were still there..unfortunately I now live 10+ hours away.
