Is Bowman Chrome Big Enough to Depress Sales of other items?
Hi all,
Was thinking of listing 100 items, baseball, football, and a couple of hockey cards and sets today. I was thinking with Bowman Chrome releasing this week, maybe its not a great time to list. A lot of what I have to list is 2005 Updates and Highlights prospect-type cards. Do you think this can depress other baseball sales and if so, this may be a good buying opportunity. Thoughts? |
I wouldn't worry about the football, but I would off a week or two on the baseball and hockey. People are also still filling in Allen and Ginter too remember....and hockey is just dead now, until camp starts.

I was just going thru 2006 football stuff and will be listing some lower end items. Football is back on the radar and there are a lot of names that are being talked about from pre-season practices & games. I don't think that Bowman Chrome baseball sales will hurt the die hard football prospectors. I think that it will be the other way around though in a month, with football sales creeping up and BC market flooding of Ebay hurting Chrome's bottom line.

won't change a thing for other products.

Hockey seems to be the same as always. Other than the flood of The Cup right now, it's the same as it always is. Inflated.
