2014 Gypsy Queen 1 hobby box or 5 blasters?
 

I'm looking at 5 blasters at target. Just wanted some input if you would buy the 5 blasters or buy one hobby box from LCS? I've noticed a lot of good blaster breaks and my one hobby box I actually bought wasn't anything special. Please help me make the decision.

Sorry if it was. Hobby box is $130 at my LCS. Would you still go that route?

Yeah they were $130 at my LCS as well. I'd still go with hobby at that price because you get the hobby-only mini variation cards which give you the possibility at pulling an extra autograph or button relic.

Just curious but where do you live that your shop charges that kind of price.
I would buy retail at that point. Seems like a lot of good hits and 130 for hobby is too high IMO.

My LCS charges $130 as well

Damn. $130 for gq?? Is it me or did that go up from last year??

Just seems high to me for this stuff, but I guess if you guys live in areas where the rent is high you have no choice.

I would two two hobby boxes of 2013 for the $130 it'd cost for 2014.

I live in Arkansas. Rent is not that high.

We get bent over for Baseball product in Canada. 135 a box here, it can rot on the shelves.

I guess rent may be a little high here but my LCS always has really high prices on wax which is why I buy my cases from Blowout. I was able to get my case from Blowout at $930 (so $93/box) the day before release however I won't get it until Monday.

Same here in Houston. Still I would go blasters considering how loaded it seems to be. I would do the same for Heritage.

I would go for the Blasters. Better odds of getting a loaded box.

I've also seen a mini auto patch booklet pulled out of the extra mini pack in the hobby box.

Blasters. GQ hits don't sell nearly well enough to justify $100+.

I'm with blasters too. I have better luck with GQ/Heritage/A&G blasters than i do hobby. I'd buy a few from different places.

Well, I guess I should have bought neither. I pulled 2 relics and no autos. 1 of the relics was from the rack pack. The rack pack seemed like the best value. It had the mini jersey, 1 red mini, and the bonus 3 white bordered cards. Here is a breakdown of what I pulled. Will post better results in box break section later. I pulled 9 regulars high number SP's, 1 mini high number sp, 2 blue border/499, 3 black minis/199, 5 red minis/99, 1 jersey card, 1 mini jersey card, and 0 variations. Thanks for looking.
