Topps Finest Figuring out the Print Run
Hello all,
New to the hobby. Little late to the game, but i just bought a bunch of finest. Love the look and feel of these cards.... I think I understand how to figure a print run from data given, but when looking at the stats I don't think I have enough information. The only thing that might give me a clue is the Howards assuming there are no "non-refractors." Am I missing something? Can I figure out the print run from the info? Thanks in advance Configuration: 8 boxes per case. 3 six-pack mini-boxes per box. 5 cards per pack. RYAN HOWARD FINEST MOMENTS BOX LOADER - 2 CARDS PER BOX LOADER PACK! 1 PER MASTER BOX! * Refractor(58) - Sequentially numbered to 149 * X-Fractor(58) - Sequentially numbered to 50 * Gold Refractor(58) - Numbered 1 of 1
I remember we figured this out. 200 x 58 = 11600 master boxes, divided by 8 equals 1450 eight-box cases. Does this make sense to anyone? Hobby stores were four-box cases, and distributors were eight-box ones -- I remember that. |
the non refractor Howard's are numbered to 459..... i think.... but they are numbered. anyway, that would make the print run:
58(459+149+50+1)/2 = 19111 master boxes. which is approx 2389 8 box cases. |
thanks guys
so that means if redemptions are spread evenly 1-10, then there are 1911 Auto Joba's out there..... |
Only if they are all redeemed. There will be plenty that aren't, and theoretically Topps will shred them.
