Some Case Advice
So i know it's only June but it's time for me to start thinking about what cases me and my dad will be breaking this Christmas.
Last year we did the following 2013 Chrome 2013 Certified 2011 Gridiron Gear Updated Info: Cases so far: 2014 Topps Jumbo 2014 Certified Football Limit Left $1300 Looking for the most Hits in boxes. Me and my Dad don't like 1 hit boxes like chrome. Only one that will be consider is 2012 Prime Sigs just bc of the price. Parallels are also i good thing. And most important it doesn't matter how much money i can make back this is just for fun with my Dad. Prefer cases be between 2011-2013. Any opinions are welcome. Thanks |
2013 score jumbo

I like certified too, but I might be biased I bought two boxes in 2012 and hit a luck auto relic and an RGIII auto relic.
How much does a case of Certified go for typically? I want to know how much money I have to spend on the rest. |
peorder a 2014 chrome and certified (as it seems you like this product) and maybe 2014 valor but don't be upset if the valor sucks.

Going with your list, I think this should be in your range:
2014 Strata (Pre-order) 2014 Chrome (Pre-order) 2014 Certified (Pre-order)/2013 Certified (if 2014 doesn't have pre-orders soon) I would've suggested at least one from 2012, but the prices are not worth it and you'd get less (probably 2) cases total even if one was from 2013/2014. |

^^^^^^ yep crazy cheap and also 2011 CONTENDERS |
I'd go for 2012.

If you have $2k on top of the certified case I would look at 2012 products. You get what you pay for. You can get smoking hot deals on 2013...but that is because it was a weak rookie class. 2012 you are going to pay a high price...but you are looking at Luck, RG3, Wilson, Foles, Martin, Morris, ect ect. 2011 is somewhere in between those two.....More talent than 2013, less than 2012 = medium cost. 2014 will likely end up somewhere between 2011 and 2012. There are multiple interesting qbs, crazy depth at wr, a few interesting rbs, ect. If manziel can just become an average qb he will sell well Tebow...but for longer than 3 years and with much more upside. |

It doesn't have to include 2014 certified. Certified is my favorite product but im not set in stone on it. As for 2012 if i do anything other that Prime Sigs it eats up everything basically. I like to have more than 1 case. I don't do this to make money. Yes i make what i can but im not doing to to try and make a profit. If i do great if not it's just fun for me and my dad to do like we used to when i was kid. |

You could get a chrome and a strata for a few hundred more. |

Getting a big hit. Pre-ordering gives me a little something to look forward to on the calendar. If I were you I'd probably go with something similar to your list. I like the value on the cases you listed. I would probably weigh my options and switch out the valor for the 2014 certified. |

That's what im leaning toward. I do like Absolute also so i may go with a case of that lol also in there. My dad likes busting packs with me just so he can get the better hit and rub it in my face lol. Which is normally what happens lol |
So here is my new option. Looking for some last case input
This is going with 2014 Certfied Pre-Ordering between 700-800 2014 Certified 2013 Absolute 6-Box Case 2013 Certified 8-Box Case Those 3 put me at about 1550 or so. Looking for some input on what to make my last case and or cases if it's under budget. Might even look at a Basketball case but Football is the priority |
I love certified as well. Why not pop a master case of that.
|
you should do topps chrome :D
|
2014 Chrome.
2014 Prime 2014 Certified. |
I love certified as well. Why not pop a master case of that.
haha depending on the presale price i just might
you should do topps chrome :D

2014 Chrome. 2014 Prime 2014 Certified.
as much as i like i don't like Chrome 1 auto per box cases. I do this with my dad for fun. The more hits the better. Plus his reaction to jersey card's is priceless lol |
2013 strata and 2013 score jumbo are pretty cheap cases.
|
how many boxes is a master case?
|
how many boxes is a master case?
24 broken down into 3 8 box inner cases |
I'm a huge Certified fan too! I've broken probably upwards of 10 mini cases (8 box case) but one time I broke 1 Master case and it was an absolute blast! I'm glad I went for the master because I had one terrible mini case, one pretty decent mini case and one AWESOME mini case! Too bad I opened them in reverse order so the thrill started really high and steadily went down lol. With that being said, I'd try for a master case of 2014 Certified or if that's too over your budget maybe do a Master of 2013 and one or two more mini cases. I actually don't even collect cards any more but try to do at least 1 case of Certified a year just for fun!

Going to bump this back to for some more opinions before i make my final big purchase. Updated the OP with the new info as well.
Have $1300 left to fill out cases More Hits per box the better Parallels are good as well 2011-2013 only You don't have to list the prices per case either just the total if you want other wise ill figure it out if you don't put anything no biggie Thanks |
