Dodgers are acquiring Howie Kendrick from Angels, according to baseball source."

xbignick 12-11-2014 12:16 AM

A lot of people would tell you Kendrick > Gordon. Dodgers new management <3

enbambam6986 12-11-2014 12:17 AM

Damn Dodgers are feelin it

xbignick 12-11-2014 12:17 AM

Without a doubt. And the Angels sure do need SP. But why not just include LAA in a 3 team trade a few hours ago?

Such a strange day.

There were rumors of a third team when it was closing, guess the Angels wanted more time or there was a minor disagreement over a player.

I'm gonna break my silence. New management is mentally handicapped. But at least it makes a little sense now. It's been a long day.

sportscardbreak 12-11-2014 12:21 AM

Was hoping he was headed to Philly :(

Chicharito 12-11-2014 12:21 AM

what the @#$% I just sold 2 Heaney autos now I can see the buyers will ask for refund most likely

IamRalpho 12-11-2014 12:21 AM

No Austin Barnes in the deal

Wonder if the Angels are interested in Murphy now.

That's pretty funny.

Kendrick is better than Gordon, no doubt. But it kind of screws with the line-up. Puig in the lead-off spot? That didn't work the first time around ...

Will be an interesting line-up.

gmsieb 12-11-2014 12:27 AM

are the angels only getting heaney? He doesnt seem enough for howie??????????

Dodgers probably picking up all the money.

exitmusicblue 12-11-2014 12:31 AM

Glad Kendrick is out of our division, dude was annoyingly clutch. Watched Heaney get his ass walloped the one time we faced him.

Howie didnt have a big contract and he is coming off a very good year.

Puig would most likely be the guy to fill that void. Who knows if it'll work or not. Heck, maybe Puig will be traded twice before I wake up tomorrow!

You're forgetting Crawford. And while Kendrick MIGHT (according to most) be better right now, but it's 5 years of Gordon for 1 of Kendrick. Plus there's the monetary difference. And it's not no doubt. Dee Gordon lead the MLB in SBs and 3Bs, he was an all star last year.

IamRalpho 12-11-2014 12:35 AM

Heaney is a very good young pitcher, dont let his rough major league start fool people. A top 30 prospect before the year, 23 years old, left handed and signed for another 5-6 years?

That's a very good get for a team like the Angels who produce NOTHING from the farm system
