Response Requested From the Horses'...I mean Hawks Mouth

Seahawks fans, read this article quick...any truth to what is said?

Not going to single out Seahawks fans but if this is true....that's pretty depressing.

Yes, because you constantly hear about opposing fans getting mobbed and beat in the Century Link parking lot and bathroom stalls.

Welcome to Oak...I mean Seattle.

The fact that it is a Fox News report is all I need to say...according to them no one is showing up at the Super Bowl this year http://www.blowoutcards.com/forums/football/823172-record-low-attendance-projections-super-bowl.html

Every fan base has a few bad apples but Seattle is pretty far from being one of the worst when it comes to fan violence.

What those Packer fans don't say are how they provoked the Seahawk fans. There are bad fans in any city; be smart where you go and don't be a d*ck. If you're by yourself, don't stroll into an area of the city loaded with drunk fans of the other team.

I just visited Tennessee in December wearing my Jags gear and ended up having a great time drinking with some Titans fans in Nashville and grabbing pizza with a couple fans at Dazzo's in Knoxville.

While this could be the case, not every bad thing that has happened at a sporting event was the result of being provoked.

packman80 01-17-2015 02:21 PM

Want to see bad fans look at cowboy fans. They were at the Packers stadium but still many acted like a-holes talking trash and trying to provoke fights.

I didn't say it was. My point is that the article only interviewed Packer fans - we're only getting one side of the story.

That is why I said "While this could be the case".

Then what was the point of your response to me? How I see it, all your comment did was provoke me by suggesting I'm not smart enough to know that all bad things that happen at sporting events aren't necessarily the result of a provocation.

coltsnsox07 01-18-2015 12:02 AM

Hmm, one side of the story and Fox News, a winning combination!

Because your initial post sounded like you assumed there was someone being provoked. If you did understand that people aren't always provoked, why was that your first statement?

jlzinck 01-18-2015 09:35 AM

Every fanbase has a group of chuckleheads. Enough said

Please, come on, you're smart enough to know I wasn't serious with my first sentence. Obviously I wasn't there to know what happened. Could the Packer fan be telling the truth? Sure. Could he be lying because he's Packer fan talking sh*t about Seahawk fans? Sure. Could it have been a million and one other things in between? Sure. The article was an interview with, what, two Packer fans, true? Is that enough to implicate every Seahawk fan? The article, much like taking my first statement as literally as possible, is ridiculous.

And as for why I made my first comment, I already addressed that in one of my earlier replies to you.
