Casey Meisner traded to A's for some bullpen arm
Hey thanks everyone for the PM's, texts and phone calls. I appreciate the sorrow but all in all he goes to a pitching friendly environment and most likely becomes the A's #1 pitching prospect.
Could be a lot worse. |
... yeah. You could have collected Andrew Toles...
|
keithlaw @keithlaw What the heck are the Mets doing?
|
Hopefully Sonny can give him some pointers:)!. I feel ya bro, will you be selling?

It will be easier to but not in a rush. Still think he has a special arm. Just picked up a large color lot of him end of last week. I believe I am over 20% of his blue, gold and orange's at this point. |

Not just any bullpen arm, they got The Yankees' Clippard!
|
The wiki nerds are quick, Meisner now in the Green & Gold page :)!

This is a really good opportunity for Meisner. The Mets' current rotation is so good and so young that it would've been tough for him to crack.
Much better chance in Oakland. |

Hate to be a Debbie Downer, but from my experience, this guy knows his stuff:
@kileymcd: Saw Meisner yesterday. 40 FV/backend SP. V long frame, huge plane, trouble repeating, 90-93 t94, avg CB, fringe CH |

Law is annoying to me in terms of prospect value. He ranked Kyle Schwarber #90 at the beginning of the season. I read his stuff because it does have an impact on prices though. |

Agree with that one. Just from my experience though, Law is not the best. |

Aka the Brewers for parra as suggested in other threads. |

Look at his entire season (not yesterday) seems like he was repeating just fine. Curveball was way above average. Yesterday was by far worst start |

That albies who is a top 50 prospect. Seems above average. |
Kileys pretty good. I think most of his connections are area scouts and crosscheckers. Law I think has more GM contacts. I'm more inclined to believe Kiley on current status/stuff appraisals, and Law on organizational perspectives.
That said, tall lefties take a long time to develop, especially wit regard to repeatable mechanics. Also being a back end starter means you're one of the 120 best pitchers on earth. Nothing wrong with that. |

forget A's prospect that became a priest after a solid AFL season |
