Can someone please explain to me how he sells things at such ridiculously inflated prices? I'm not just talking about the things he has for sale I'm talking about the things he's actually sold.

I will admit, he had a RARE card I needed, as in- NEVER seen another one in 5+ years of looking. He put it 20% off, and I had ebay bucks to cover all but about $5 of it, so I pulled the trigger. But that is the only way it was gonna happen, when I was in a situation where I had "free money" and a deadline to use that free money.

I have actually worked a couple (more than) fair trades with him over the years, and I don't really have an issue with him selling his cards (or trying to) for what he wants. As I said, I was playing with house money, and I decided the card was something I wanted for my PC. Ebay bucks expire in 30 days and I really haven't been buying much, wasn't going to let them go to waste. I spent $5 out of pocket, and had I seen the card at a show, I would have GLADLY paid $5 for it. So it was a win for me.

The items he has tend to be on the incredibly rare side. Sometimes, its easier to just buy the card rather than search endlessly for 5 years.

I have no issues with Peter. We've talked on and off over the years and have exchanged rare oddball info and given cards to each other. He's helped me a lot make money on cards no one thought were valuable. I think instead of people complaining when he has something, they should try talking with him. He'll work with you. Always has me.

He used to be on trading card central. Good trader. I saw an item on ebay and thought, "that's Jaderock?" lol

The issue some people have with him is that he intentionally bought rare cards to hold them hostage for exorbitant amounts. I think one example is with a Kyle Boller Shield card he's had listed for several years now.

As for recent sales, outside of a Ragone, I didn't see a whole lot of cards that went for crazy amounts. It does look like some sold on the higher side, but if the cards are HTF, people will pay a premium.

Id ask the same thing about blackrose289.

Meh, I'll pleasure myself with sandpaper before I buy anything from that guy at his ridiculous prices. Then again, it's pretty easy for me to say as he doesn't have any Bledsoe's I want. My tune might change were he to pick up a Bledsoe 2009 BTL Auto "O"...

I put in an offer, forgot the EXACT offer, and I countered their counter with a LOWER offer than my first. OOPS.
I can no longer put offers on his stuff, he banned me.
I'd say he won't let me bid, but they never list anything but 10X value BIN's.

Jaderock is a douche. I have a Brunell Printing Plate that he will never get. Keep on jaderocking!

Regarding Jaderock's auctions, some of the things he's selling are these oddball printing errors. He has a 1997 Score Artist's Proof of Deion Sanders that has a faded or dis-colored stamp on it and he's asking over $120 for it.

Then there's this Paul Krause UD auto that has been on eBay plenty and sold for about $5, yet Jaderock's sold for almost $20. It's just nuts. It almost makes me want to list a bunch of crisp at inflated prices just to see if some poor schlep buys it.

Im glad you brought him up because I was thinking of him after reading the OP. I cant stand even seeing this guys listings anymore, but their every where! Ive made more than fair offers and multiple items of his, all countered $500+ what it sells for. I gave up. Ive thought though he must be super loaded. Because it looks like he busted a massive amount of Flawless cases and really has no plans to sell anything outside a sucker or two.

I want some of those Flawless Teddy Bridgewaters but he is selling the /25 for $450 OBO and the one I saw sold was $95. So I can't even make an offer.

Some people just use ebay as their own personal photobucket to show the world what they have with zero intentions of selling it....

This, I use eBay as my photobucket on some cards. I got tired of consistently updating photobucket.

There are many more cases like this and its well documented going back years. Just last year on Beckett this happened for a Notre Dame card and he was called out on it. Jaderock does not even spit on it first

You clearly don't know him. He is one of the biggest single player collectors out there but loves to get rare cards that other people collect and hold them hostage. He honestly doesn't care if he sells them, he just loves to be an ass.
