So this is how folks become wax addicts...
 

I'll try to keep this brief. I rarely buy wax. I bought my last box two years ago, because I just can't afford it (college). Anyway, my brother and I decided to splurge on some BF and Cyber Monday boxes to have some fun.

I grabbed (4) 2013-14 Crusade Basketball, and he grabbed (2) as well.
I also did (1) 2010 Topps Chrome Football and (1) 2014 Topps Strata Football to qualify for BO's free shipping.

I ordered (4) boxes of Flair Showcase from a competitor for 30 bucks a pop on Cyber Monday.

Fast forward to me getting home from Christmas Break. I pulled the following:

SHOWCASE
Steve Young auto
Odell auto
Marino PMG /100
Jimmy G auto and PMG /25
2 #'d Teddy rookies
2 #'d Bortles rookies

CRUSADE
No low-numbered crusades, but red and teal of Kobe, Russ, Steph etc.
Kyrie auto redemption
Giannis sticker rookie auto "apprentice"
STEPH CURRY on-card "majestic" auto /10!!!!!
(My brother also pulled a Kawhi sticker auto from his two boxes)

CHROME
Hernandez auto. Yikes.

STRATA
This is where it got out of control. I pulled a Teddy blue Clear Cut RPA to /75. As a Vikings fan and Teddy believer, I couldn't believe my luck.
Last but certainly not least, in my last, thickest pack, I pulled a Derek Carr Shadowbox Rivet RPA 5/5. Believe it. Though I wouldn't blame you if you didn't, because I certainly wouldn't.


I'm not looking to move any of these cards at the moment, but if anyone wants to pay an extravagant price on the Carr, I might listen. I figure that card could almost pay for all my boxes :D:D:D

I bought four boxes of wax in 2012 and got a Robert Turbin auto in every box. That was the end of my wax addiction. :)

I did very well myself (odds wise) in 2014 Strata Football. Out of 3 hobby boxes (bought at different times at different retailers) I hit 2 rivets. One was /5 Jace Amaro the other was 1/1 Nike Swoosh Jarvis Landry. I might try another box now, haha. Congrats tc.
