New Cards Ideas for Topps Star Wars

So I'm sure most, if not all of you, are getting sick of the medallions and patch cards Topps keeps putting out. Force Awakens has like 50+ in Series 1 alone, but only 4 actual medallion designs

I get that it may not always be easy for them to acquire screen-worn props, but we were all fine with the Ewok and Chewbacca fur from Jedi Legacy. And the Film Strips were a neat idea as well.

I for one would be fine with "fabricated" props like they used for Archer and Adventure time (since they're cartoons) and used fabric to make Jedi/Sith Robe Relics, just so long as they sell them as that (though how would we ever know? haha.

I'd like to offer two design ideas:
1. Topps could easily make light-up lightsaber cards like Target used for their gift cards when Revenge of the Sith came out. They could still number them and this way we could have some variation and even do something where the rarer ones have more lights (i.e. single blade is common, Darth Maul dual saber or Anakin when he held two in Ep 2 would be uncommon, Kylo Ren with his crossblades and main blade would be rare, and then General Grievous with four sabers would be an ultra rare).

2. Topps could also do some crazy Allen & Ginter style relic cards with sand in them from Tatooine or Jakku. All they'd need would be a small plastic capsule and then just a 5lb bag of sand from the set. Obviously it'd be impossible for snow, but they could have some grass from Naboo though :)!

Hopefully Topps can step up the relic game and have better filler cards. I'd rather have 1 hit per box and pay a little less if it's going to keep being worthless medallions haha

They should put the connections disks in them.

But then do you break the "card" to get the disc out? Also, stop trying to make connexions happen! It's a flop lol.

Costumes cards from Star Wars but I know it will never happen :-(

Again this is a mock only and not relate to any products from Topps:

I'm surprised they haven't went with inscription card yet. The signer would write a quote their character said in the movie and then their signature underneath. It would breathe a little bit of fresh life into the autograph game.

Imagine an Admiral Akbar card with "it's a trap!" or a Mark Hamill card with "may the force be with you" or a Hayden Christiansen card that says "I don't like sand".

I would like to see hand stamp or finger print cards

An auto card with up to 8 signers, even actors with small parts would have value

Some kind of connecting inserts that you have to get at least 4 to put together so the lightsaber then lights up! (Trying to think outside the box on that one!)

Lightsaber crystal cards

Redemptions for some kind of Star Wars experience or convention trip

Redemption for replica items

Video cards with exclusive content

I forgot that phone cards were a thing! There were so many shady businesses using phone cards to launder money in the 1990s....

I wasn't suggesting they put gift cards in packs, but rather a card that's like this gift card.
