2007 Razor Poker case rippers
 

I just preordered 2 cases from Blowout today now I normally sit on the cases I buy but this time I plan on ripping this product. What are the pros and cons of ripping vs holding the cases for a while?

i also pre ordered a case, but am planning on ripping it asap.. I just don't see how poker autos can sustain a decent price over time unless they are extremely short printed (like last years).

BUT THEN AGAIN.. a lot of people might be ripping these for the triple/quad and cut autos, and since the cases are limited to 300(?), then holding them just might be the right play, ESPECIALLY if someone pulls a cut auto early - these just might take off. i have another month left, so i might pull the trigger and get another one.

i dont know. i dont make sense. its been a long day and its hot. lol

You made perfect sence to me. I can't see the price per case dropping the reason being I've looked around and can't find very many and they all were higher than Blowouts' price.

have you decided yet whether or not you are going to rip? at least you got 2 cases.. you could always rip one, hope to hit it big, shop it on ebay so the cost of your other case goes up, then sell the other one.

does anyone else have any input on whether or not this is a rip or hold?

would looking at dealernet give us any indictation if people are buying it up and its getting scarce?

Do you have access to dealernet? If you do that would give you a good insight. I didn't buy it so it probably will go up!

i dont have access.. but if anyone does that can take a peek.. let us know!

i just keep imagining.. pulling a huge cut auto...then i would max out all my cc's to buy up cases of it.. then go on all the boards to show it off and watch the prices go up LOL.

Well B.O.H.I.C.A. it looks like it's just you and me. There's only 5 major hits I hope we hit 3 of them unless we buy more cases and the other 2 hits are in them. Good luck with your case or cases.

minor update: last email exchange with the crew at blowout has the release date and 8/25.. no difference for most, but I will be out on travel the monday after!

maybe ill have them ship it to the ups store where i'll be at LOL :)!

Last year's short-printed autographs are holding their value. Cases are still widely available in quantity so I'm assuming, I hope correctly, that this year's print run is substantially less. Base sets from 2006 are virtually worthless. I have one listed currently and at 99 cents there are no bids.

i believe there are only 300 cases this year.... i like my chances of a cut auto. the quad autos will be sweet and i think i read somehwere there might be "hotboxes"... extra autos/box vs 5 autos

The production run is 300 cases and there will be a hot box (total number unknown) with 6 autos.

i'd love to do a case of this because of the ease of the cards, just having a hard time pulling the trigger.

I also had a hard time pulling the trigger but since I turned down 10 cases of Star Wars 30th @ $479.95 ea. delivered I figured this would make up for it or punish me a little more. Come on cut auto. :cool:

Each box will have a minimum of 6 autos.

You are guaranteed at least 1 dual/quad auto per box.

This should be a good rip. All cards will be in acrilic cases as well. Odds of getting a cut auto are about 1 in 25 cases.

Cant wait to see everyone breaks posted here. I will post mine as well.

Where did you find that each box will have at least 6 autos with a 1 dual/quad auto per box? Everything that I have found states that there will be 1 card per pack, 5 packs per box, and 10 boxes per case with a chance of receiving a dual/quad auto or cut auto per box which would be the hot box with 6 cards (6 or more autos).

There are five packs per box.

1 autographed card per pack. There are no base cards. (1 of the 5 will be a dual auto or quad auto)

All cards will be in magnetic / acrilic holders. (To prevent pack searching)

I believe the duals and quads will be numbered. The individual autos will not be numbered. There will be some SP autos like the last series.

Most of the cuts will be 1/1's. The odds of getting a cut auto is around 1 in 25 cases. (Not bad if you see who they are)

There are a few more signers this year, along with a few Celeberty Poker autos as well. (Jerry Buss, Cindy Margolis, Shannon Elizabeth, etc)

Below is Blowouts info on this. It says 6 autos per case as well.

I just ordered 2 cases yesterday. I can't wait until they come in. I plan on breaking one and holding the other for a while.

I also purchased an 18 box case of Sportkings and a 3 box case of Sportkings. I will be busting the 3 box case and holding the 18 box case for a while as well. I may put it in that deep, deep closet that I won't be able to find it in.

tommorow is the 5th. does anyone know if tehy are going to push it back again or not? i can't freggin wait lol.
