Enzo was the most entertaining superstar they had. Like it or not - the guy got a pop. I don't believe the story -- it's too convenient -- but he was likely on thin ice with WWE any for things that we don't even know about, and this was the proverbial straw.

I love his character. He and the Miz are the two best guys on the stick that WWE has right now. But WWE is a publicly traded company, and in this day and age, you absolutely cannot have ANY ties to someone who has been accused of sexual misconduct.

It's a shame - a shame if he did it, because he was talented and the girl certainly had mental issues; a shame if he's being railroaded and it's a false accusation. But, because he can talk and wrestle, he'll land on his feet either in ROH or Impact (unless, of course, there are criminal charges). But he and Gulak were the only reason to watch 205 Live. Unless they have a huge influx of talent coming in, it may be time to pull the plug and integrate the guys they have onto the main roster.

Edit: The twitterverse is saying that Enzo knew of the allegations and didn't advise the WWE. Also, this has allegedly been an open case since October. Charges may be coming soon.
