Congrats on getting to be there. Had to weigh out either The Nat or Cooperstown, and I opted for Cleveland. 1/1 is never too aggressive IF it means everything to your PC AND you can justify the expense. I did so for Thome and glad I got his full set.
I will give this as my $.02... I really wanted the 2016 "Party at Napoli's" 1/1 but I just didn't pull the trigger even though it meant a lot as the rally cry for the Tribe Playoff Push. I missed it and regretted it some, but I told myself the price was too high. A miracle about a year ago as it went on sale for less than 50% original price AND was even BGS graded AND stars aligned for a 25% off coupon on The Bay. I got it and was beyond ecstatic.
So someone may try to buy the 1/1 to flip it and it may surface again either as a fail and at a discount or at scalper prices, but many never have... so it's your call.
