This isn't about a fake card, so much as a fake autograph, but figured I'd post here to warn everyone.

I believe this card from this auction (https://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-1998-9...f-U:rk:12:pf:0) has a fake autograph:

I love this set, but the Jordan autograph is ALWAYS light blue, fine and streaky. Not sure what happened during the signing, but here's an example of what they normally look like (this is actually a nice example; most are much worse):

I personally believe the seller wiped the card down and faked the autograph. Now maybe you're thinking -- perhaps this seller just found a really amazing example of this card with a perfect autograph, signed in a darker pen. But some other people discovered the same seller likely sold another suspected Jordan wipe-down job autograph fake. Only it was under a different username, ostensibly to cover his tracks: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1997-UD3-Se...p2047675.l2557

Here's a picture of the card from the above auction:

Notice the blue hue behind the autograph? That's what happens to this card when you try and wipe down the auto. Here's another example of one that had the autograph wiped down, leaving the same blue hue:

And here's what it SHOULD look like:

If you're wondering why people suspect it's the same seller, here's the description for both fake Jordan autographs. They appear to be written by the same person. Also note that both sellers list their address within 40 miles of one another:

If you look at the Jordan auto on the wiped down UD3 auto, and this Ionix auto, they match almost perfectly. They appear forged by the same hand. Stay away!
