I'm sure you are referring to Harden.
Harden scores 36.5 ppg on 24.1 shots.
Giannis scores 27 ppg on 17.2 shots.
That's an average points per shot of 1.51 for Harden and 1.56 for Giannis.
Not a big difference, especially when you consider that Harden dishes out 2 more assists per game.
Look, i'm very on the fence on who's MVP this year... im going to let it play out before i make up my mind, but the old 'ball hog' argument is a weak one.
Make a case based on team record, defense, impact on teammates, whatever.... but Harden is having a historic scoring year and getting great production out of his high shot totals.
I'm pretty sure you can consider MJ quite the ball hog in his day, but I think he deserved a few of those MVP's he earned.
