This Ty Cobb Red Portrait is unnaturally white for a T206. It is surprising to me that SGC did not catch this bleaching, as it is the most ghastly color I've seen on a T206 Cobb. Although the buyer of the card from Huggins & Scott is unknown at this time, it bears all the hallmarks of many of the other altered cards that have been laundered through PWCC. Namely, it has been bathed in a chemical whitening solution and one of the corners has been trimmed down. In the last photo, a close-up detail of the Piedmont back, you can see the upper left corner has a small crease. The card doctor trimmed the corner down to lessen the appearance of the crease. The crease instead blends into the more rounded corner.

Blue rectangle on the front shows the corner that was trimmed down, and the large print spot that was removed. The red circles on back are paper fibers and print defects shared in the two photos, proving it is the same card. The red arrow in the third photo points to the crease, which you can see is virtually gone in the "after" photo to its right.
