While it is nice to finally see Watson being recognized, I still stand by what I have seen from this kid in his career. He was a winner in college and will be a winner in the NFL. I know Mahomes has already been handed the 2019 MVP and agree that he is an unbelievable talent, but I think Watson gives him a run for his money this year and going forward. As a football fan I am excited that Mahomes and Watson will be going at it for hopefully the next 15 years.
In regards to his cards it never made sense to me that Mahomes was worth 10x the price of Watson and as for this current upswing, I think people are finally recognizing that. Much like in baseball this year when people finally realized in August that Juan Soto is a special talent and his cards popped up closer to Acuņa.
