Oh no doubt. I'd love to see Luka win MVP this year actually, but it really does come down to record unless a player's stats are just on another level from everyone else. Right now, there are so many players putting up ridiculous stats, it's just crazy. I mean Westbrook has basically been averaging 25 point triple doubles for the last 5 years straight and he will only end up with 1 MVP which is nuts stats wise.
My best guess is that Luka and the Mavs barely make the playoffs this year (which is a HUGE accomplishment btw). After that, the sky is the limit for this kid, just has to find the right teammates to make some title runs. Given that he's only 20 or whatever, he's got plenty of time for that.
