I personally wouldn't enjoy this. I don't know many artists that want to interpret their art for you and it often comes off as navel-gazing. If some people miss symbolism or meaning, it just makes it that much more special for those who connect it.

If I go to an exhibit and the little card next to a painting is a 25,000 word manifesto written by the artist, I usually pass. That's the great thing about art for me, you derive your own interpretation of the works. Probably explains why I hate abstract art like featureless monochrome paintings.
