So, Trump didn't know how serious the threat was because no one either told him or they also didn't believe the threat was serious. For the sake of argument, I will take that at face value.
If that is true, then people who give him credit for banning travel to China should agree that it had nothing to do with the virus and everything to do with the trade deal/his own interests. Right?
