This particular chapter deals with the manipulation of statistics and suppression of facts by the media. I know it's nothing new, but I'm no less livid by reading that chapter, specifically at the suppression of famine death statistics in the Ukraine during Stalin's rule. The same manipulation and suppression is rampant today. Few reporters care about the actual truth ... only the version they'd like you to believe.
To that end, it concerns me to wonder how much I'm being manipulated in ways I don't even know. I hate it.

It's pretty scary. I'll dig deep and try to educate myself on what's really going on vs. what the media narrative is and eventually just get so frustrated I have to step away from it all for a while.
