Are most here arguing nothing should be done and we're fine where we're at. As a result, harsher tactics employed to handle civilian uprisings.
Or is there dialog that needs to happen and policing policy changes that need to happen. It's not radical to demand police stop killing people. I keep banging my head against why nothing is happening, why no change, no talks from a governmental level. The protests aren't getting less violent and more videos are inevitably going to keep surfacing, a person dies everyday as a result of police interactions. This is an ongoing problem, even if all police shootings are justified, the resulting protests are a problem.
Is it unreasonable to believe Trump is letting cities flounder, stoking violence, perpetuating riots for political end. It's definitely galvanizing his base and turning away moderates from BLM's message. I just don't understand why there's not a clearer effort to talk towards policy changes.
