Arguments could be made that no violence has yet resulted. Those arguments could be countered, and then we go down a cause/effect rabbit hole. I have little desire for that. I'd concede the point merely because I believe the damage done is measured in other ways.

Trump's whackjob claims have caused unnecessary problems. I see that as readily evident. The extent of those problems and which claims caused them is debatable, but the concept of a president's radical claims not causing problems is simply a form of denial.

What is the thing with people making this claim, then hiding in a hole? Please don't go hiding.

Show me where his words, not his actions, have had tangible impact. Not psychological; as I concede just from the last two days, he's had plenty of psychological impact!
