According to Pro Football Reference's Hall of Fame Monitor, he's ranked 25th all time, not a bad spot at all. 7th among active players. This metric measures statistics, awards, championships, etc. Not a guarantee of who's getting in, but a good barometer. So with that information, I'd say he for sure isn't a first ballot today, maybe 3rd-ish. There's gonna be a logjam at QB soon with Eli, Rivers, Brees, Ben, and Brady all done or retiring in the next year or two (come on Brady doesn't have more than that does he?!). If, and it's a big if, he can continue his current pace for 3 years then not rapidly decline so he can pad some end of career stats, he might can get in on first ballot depending on who hasn't gotten in and who he's eligible with.
